A year-round creek-fed lake provides a home to a myriad of wild-life, including Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, white herons, bald eagles, golden eagles, red tail hawks, foxes, beaver and dozens of other species - as well as to a herd of miniature donkeys that graze on the native grass pastures that are carpeted with bluebonnets and other wildflowers in Spring. Numerous protected and endangered species find year-round or seasonal refuge here - resulting in our property being officially designated a wildlife management area.
